Woo Hoo!! We're back updating the website after a very busy and productive 2011, apologies for the lack of activity recently as we've been welcoming the arrival of 2 brand new flocks, one arriving in April and the other in July, and a brand new member of staff!
Jon joined us in early June and he's been helping in the kitchen making meringues, mayonnaise and helping out on the farm.
Having welcomed the new chicks in early July, the April arrivals (better known as the Katie's as they arrived on the day of the Royal Wedding!) are now weeks away from laying; whilst the July arrivals are growing fast ready for laying in the next few months. In the kitchen we have been developing more egg-based products in our spare time, such as lemon curd and garlic mayonnaise, which we launched this summer - see meringues page for more info. Be sure to check the website for any further updates! Meringue and Mayonnaise sales are good and all is well here. The Ladyilay team
